No I was 3/8" flame polished, and that was the cheapest around. Others were around $200. But thank you! It's been a lot old hard work but I'm almost dome

UPDATE
So I got my overflow to work so I'm cycling the tank through an improvised filter while I finish the sump. Picked up my light fixture today so ill try to install that this week. I have some fish from a nearby creek to help it cycle. Looks like the tank should be up and finished by next week

I just added a check valve to the stand/sump I'm building a couple days ago. After reading this I'm glad I did. Sorry to hear about the disaster. How is the clean up going?
 
I ordered a new pump for it today, should probably also pick up a check valve. The clean up sucks. I can't seem to pick up all the water out of the carpet so I'm just running the dehumidifier at full strength. And boy does it stink! Gotta let the basement air out this weekend. It's probably better that this happened sooner than later so that it didn't have such an impact

Well I finished the sump and the light so the tank is officially finished and cycling! I can't believe this project of my dreams has become a reality. Thank you to all MFK'rs who have put up with my many questions and helping me keep the motivation to finish. Time to stock this thing!
