I would go w/ the frontosa/calvus... they can really make a stunning display.. and you can really see if you want to part with them or not. my second pick would be the fahaka... go pretty... or go sassy. either would be very nice for different reasons.

i Agree with the above you will get more reaction from a front tank and they are the best looking Africans in my opinion then i like peacocks. But if you have fully grown fronts thats something to gaze at.

Wow they're amazing. I would definitely put them in the new tank and maybe add some rock work or decoration so they're not so skid-dish. I know its a tough task with how big they are to put rock work in there but maybe you could add some tall plastic plants that give a realistic look to them so they can weave in and out. Just buy adding that i think they're darty movements will go way down.
Up until last weekend I was not a fan of african cichlids at all. I saw a very well built 180ish tank with an awesome stacked rock setup, spanned the length pf the tank and was piled to nearly the top, with tons of africans, a couple african featherfin cats, albino plecos and red and blue lobsters. It was one of the most beautiful tanks I've ever seen. Therefore I say Africans.
I have a surplus of juvenille livingstonii and yellow's between 1 -2 inches. Hundreds, if you want to go the african route... I would share some...
one more thing..... beautiful fronts.... mine are at 3" and I can't wait for them to look like yours...
