  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the three pleco types I see are:

a chocolate pleco, the first one
a common pleco, the second one
and an albino chocolate pleco, the third one

thanks mate :)

Anytime

Just in case your wondering about max size for those pleco's, The Regular/Albino Chocolates will reach a little over a foot, but I'm not entirely sure about the common, because I'm not sure about the specific species

ya.. there seems to be no specific way to pinpoint exact details.. well i'll go with the detail i have..cheers :)

The 1st and the 3rd are the same (just a color variation)... as mentioned they are Albino chocolates (from Pterygoplichthys pardalis) .

I had one up to 14inches. In theory they should be able to get up to 2 feet as the templated host( again a Pterygoplichthys pardalis) but I doubt they can and have never seen one bigger then the one I had

The 2nd one is either a Pterygoplichthys pardalis or a Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus . A Pardalis has a circle(round) like pattern on it's belly whereas the Disjunctivus has a wavy like pattern on it's belly. Both can get up to 2 feet.

I actually moved the pleco into the pond yday.. the minute they went in my aros and rtc became super curious.. you should say i chickened out and moved them back out.. anyways on another note.. i checked up on the above quote.. one of them is a pardalis and another is a disjunctivus.
