go to home depot/lowes, they sell 4x8 sheets of foam. theres usually white, pink and blue foamboard. ive always used 3/4" thick white, and its around $10.

alright so far so good did the repair and am now filling the tank im aroun 2/3 full crack has not spread and no leaks hope all goes good i also built a top frame for the tank and will post pictures

Fill it in with JB Weld, and face that side of the tank towards the wall. JB Weld will fix anything, even says so on the label.

nah i drilled the end of the crack siliconed it and then did a piece of glass in and out!

My wifes grandfather fixed a cracked engine block on his farm using jb weld and i use it all the time

I figure in fish keeping many times a diy fix is just as good as doing it the proper way it just does not have the eye apeal
