240litre tank, predator ideas?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It does also say 240litres on the title and I don't think I would have put a fish that grew to 2 feet in length in a tank that size in the first place

clarify? lol I would have thought the title of 240 litre was clarification enough! I used to have the same tank, its around 48 long by 22 high by 16 deep. Rainbow snakeheads would work

Lol that's what I thought Ian, yeah I love snakeheads but was hoping to get something different. So I have this guy in there for now who gets to 35cm not sure on the name I forgot but it's a species of walking catfish, do you think and Oscar would be a candidate for the tank along side the cat?? Or it it too small for an Oscar thanks

and if it is that easy to convert to us gallons then you should be able to do it if you are interested in a post- not you far2lively the other guy. Personally i do use gallons, but litres is the norm for european countries. I would say too small for an oscar, potentially they can get longer than the tank is wide. How about rocket gar?

Cool looking cat... Looking at the size of him you will be needing something of reasonable size that wont end up in is belly. Cichlids may be the answer then, but i wouldnt like to say what kind would be best suited... Not sure if that fits entirely with your predator idea, but anything i can think of would either be too big or would end up as lunch.

I tryed a 9 inch jag my mate had in there earlier and the cat chased it constantly so looks like ill just stick with the cat which is fine, he's awesome!!
