Try asking msjinkzd...she's good with identifying Inverts. Kind of curious myself to see if that mystery shrimp is commonly available.

I notice shrimp keeping is not very popular here. Hopefully this hobby can flourish.:)
 
^ i think a lot of people are put off by the care requirements of shrimp... especially the more exotic ones like CRS and King Kongs etc... i mean having to run chillers is added expense which can add up quickly unfortunately...

I know i've been put off keeping expensive shrimp coz i don't want to lose my stock, and i definitely don't want to be running a chiller basically 24/7... my electricity bill is high enough as it is...

Although i'm now considering sulawesi shrimp for my future tank, since they prefer warm water rather than cold water...

I will say sulawesi is harder to keep imho. But yes, the investment in the chiller is the only thing that is gonna cost the hobbyist. But well it's worth it.
