I've got a 5 1/2"-6" Gibb and it has adequate wood in the tank, meaning at all times it's pooping.
That one is real nice regardless of actual size.
Young sailfins eat a lot and crap even more. It's an odd trait of the species. My big ones don't eat as much now as they did at 12" or less comparatively and don't really crap much at all now. Big adults are an amazing sight to behold. When they have their fins extended...

I must admit both of the ones shown are beautiful specimens.
I'll have to get some pics of mine and post them now.
