Try looking at there YouTube channel, both have very long lasting community tanks.

To be fair, Andy woods has a really successful aggressive community tank, and he is the one who got me into large cichlids
I live a few miles from Andy woods and go round his house frequently, his community tank ended when botox killed the big Morris and injured mini Morris, he doesn't do community tanks anymore.

Oh really! That’s awesome, and not at the same time. Well I guess I should just stick to species spacific tanks instead of mix matching fish that don’t belong together. Still don’t know what I should do with the 350. But all of these plans aren’t set in stone.

I might try what he has going just not as much, maybe I’ll try 2 150’s, 1 100 and 1 200 side by side with one 150 having some festae’s, another with red tigers, and one a with a umbee and then the 100 just a planted community

I just got a custom made 150 gallon tank, it is two feet wide two and a half feet tall and it got around a corner where it is 16 inches wide (only small section of the tank for smaller fish hiding) I was thinking on overstocking it with green terror, Red Devils, jack Dempsey, jaguar , Texas and red terror cichlid, I also have a spare 90 gallon to put the festae's in for breeding instead. any suggestion?
ive seen it done before but if i were u id make sure red devils texans and jaguars are THE SMALLEST AND YOUNGEST in tank and get some national geographics so u can emulate Central American rivers & streams much as possible even turning temp down little winter & fall and frequent water changes in springtime , diverse diet and u will b the envy of the New World cichlids community

OK, well lets say I don't wanna overstock it, you guys were saying its better not to be, its a big 250 and I want some real big cichlids, Jags, festae's ,Texas and so on. or should I get 2 JD's, 2 GT's, 2 Jags, 2 festae's and 2 Texas when they are all around 4 inches raise them all together pick out the bully's and weaklings
jags texans & festaes have to b smaller than others or u wont have to worry bout sorting the weak thats for damn sure.. red devils are veey intelligent when inhabitants r 6" mix u n bout 6-8 juvees

Thanks, what if I put a divider in there , took away around 100 gallons ish for some red Terrors to breed? Could I still have 10-15 fish. This is what I am thinking. 1 jag, 1 haitensis, 3 green terrors, 4 jack dempeseys, Texas cichlid, 1 Red Devil and not are about the last one, maybe a pair of red terrors. What do you recommend for stocking list does that sound good
the black nasties are far to aggresive those and wolfves should be species only tanks
