Man and I thought the 19 incher I caught summer before last was a monster,didnt weigh him but he wasnt close to 25lbs

Hey Shark!!!

We do have Large Mouth Bass in the country....Up in the mountain lakes of Caliraya and lumot. They were introduced to this man made reservoir in the 1970's. Lots of foreign anglers can't believe we have bass so close to the equator.

The Philippine Record for Large Mouth Bass is 6.6 kg....puny compared to that monster.....

no ...when they say "they were on the fish" means thay were stalking it. the bass was bedding and with bedding largmouths you either have to cast from outta sight or "get on" the fish so it gets used to you being there. otherwise it wont hit your baits knowing that your watching it. some people will stay "on" a big bass for up to three days before throwing a jig to it.

I caught a 13lb. 1 oz. large mouth at Fort yargo State Park here in Ga back in 1983 and I thought it was large.....
