CAN THIS BE TRUE? 27 YEARS OLD???? AND ONLY 20"??
2 fish:I have 2 Pangasius Catfish (Iridescent Sharks). There official name is Pangasius hypophthalmus. They are catfish that somewhat look like sharks. They are very large. I have had the oldest one for 18 years. He is 27 years old and is approx 20 inches long. The other one is approx 12 years old and is about 8 inches long. I have them in a 125 gallon tank. They are in excellent health. They are my pets and I want them to go to a good home. I would be willing to trade for anything of value.

Fish have hormones that if these hormones build up in a given space the fish growth slows down. if there were not mant water changes during the first 5-7 years this fish may have inadvertently stopped growing at the rate it should have been. the owner must not have fed it often & did few water changes if it is truly that age & size. I may not be that old but who knows.
