It looks like a good tank to work with!

I haven't seen this mentioned yet... just in case you're not aware, acrylic tanks need to sit on a stand that supports the entire bottom of the tank, not just the perimeter.

thanks for the advice. yeah the bottom acrylic looks kinda thin. if i can get a house this coming year this will be going in my living room wall. eventually
