Yes.Now since i am able to get him to feed properly.I am planning to get rid of the orscar and perhaps get a few tiger barbs to do the cleaning job.

Does market prawn do the fattening?I have try sinking pellet but it seems like the orscar grab it faster then he can reacted to it.

I would of gotten a very tiny Oscar in this case, but yea I don't think this oscar is gonna work too long in that tank. But if you feel he is continuing to help the matter than keeping him around a little longer might be smart. Tiger barbs could work (never tried them) and I think a moderately active bottom dweller will help keep the dat from hugging the bottom if he's still doing it. This may help to bring him up closer to your feeding hands which he needs to learn to do often. You can try market prawn, feed as much as he's willing to take in and as often as he wants. Pretty soon you can start stuffing small pellets into fish fillet or shrimp for added nutrients. Many of my smaller dats got hooked on cut pieces of baby smelt or anchovy fish as well which are super healthy. Just experiment, he will let you know soon what his staple food will be for a long time

Dat is still hugging the corner of the tank.
Saw him stable just today morning. But when i go close.Totally black out.
Try to soak some sinking pellet in bloodworm juice but didn't manage to get him to eat any.
Still feeding om frozen bloodworm and hope he fatten up soon.

Thanks for all your advice, will follow up with shrimp next week and keep you guys updated.
