the question is always have to ask everyone is are you refering to 2pac the PERSON or 2pac the rapper? 2pac the rapper mostly blew up AFTER his death. Biggie was actually big DURING his life FOR his music, not the other way around. The only reason i pick pac is i loved what the west coast movement was doin at the time while puffy had big goin in the direction of hip pop but who cares, even jay z did Sunshine and he hated it. i'm probably more likely to listen to an old school biggie cut then a pac cut

tupac was huge in his own day . his biggest hit to live and die in l.a. was #1 all summer in 96 when he was still around he was killed at his peak . of course the controversies of his murder kept his name out there , and he was so prolific that it seems they'll never run out of new pac to put out .

for YOU and i on the west coast only, he wasn't BIG like that before his death across the nation for his music. i'm not claiming that pac had no hits but i'm saying he was more well known for the legend of 2pac then his actual music before his death.

yes, the same way that east coast kids will tell you that biggie and jay z were always the shiznits to them or atlanta kids have love for their atliens etc etc. i'm just refering to the grand scale. i mean seriously, if someone made a song right now called Boston Love and it became a big hit there, would you care? no, but the boston kids might think it's the greatest thing EVER

What in the world are you talking about???? Tupac was out selling biggie when both was living. I think no I know you have your facts wrong. Look it up Pac out sold biggie in death and in life. SO again what are you talking about? Pac was bigger than biggie in the rap game when he was alive. Why do you think biggie had to come out with a double album right after Tupac put out All eyez on me??? All eyez on me out sold Life after death by millions. Should I continue??? Your facts are way off buddy.

are you able to pull up sales DURING the time those albums came out or are you refering to the rush of sales AFTER he died?

Man what are you talking about again??? Man I live in south carolina and Tupac was big before he died. This guy was big everywhere. I don't think you paid much attention back then. That was all the buzz when I was coming from the tupacalypse cd to the Makaveli the south was riding to it in the eariler 90's homie.
