Update - Spoke with my friend (who is also a lfs owner) to get more details.

He confirms they are indeed 3 stripe wide bar dats, but does not know the difference between Indo and ST.

Pictures will be able to confirm, which I will be able to get a hold of on Sunday when I visit.

He also seems to think they are the rare dats as he paid (wholesale) of $500 for both.

Will let you all know when I hear more
 
Just got off the phone with my friend.

He notes the tail has two small identical stripes... I have to assume they are 3 bar indos.

If anyone is still interested, I am sure he will let them go for his cost.

WOW I think imma change my price on my thin Bar from $60 to $100.00..lol
 
He also paid $200 EACH for 4" Tigs!!!

I asked him to no longer order fish from his supplier before checking in on pricing.

But at the same time, he gets Fancy Plecos for dirt cheap.

Luckily, he has a put option with the Dats from his supplier - he will be exercising this
 
Lot of people who export from Vietnam trying to pass indo's off as widebar ST's these past few years - tell him to get pictures before they send em' from now on, and to double check that those pictures aren't out of books or off Google.com :D
