how do you have the right to tell somebody what they can and cant do. Its not animal cruelty, they live in a small tank.

I agree. Pretty soon, you're either going to have to get rid of everything but the cons if you're going to have just the 29 or you're going to have to get rid of everything but probably one midas/rd and get a 75. or get much larger and you may be able to keep more than that. like i'm one to talk (look at my 55, lol).PoopSmart;1539469; said:Dude its arlight, they are small now, but just understand they grow. Imagine fitting the full grown versions of those fish in that tank is all they are saying. It wouldn't be pretty. THey would probably just be sitting there.

Balton777 said:If you care about the fish you will sell the RD's and keep the convicts unless in the next few months you upgrade to a minimum 75g tank. Otherwise you will stunt them. Their body stops growing but their organs continue to grow to normal proportions. This leads to an awful shortened life for your little pet. Let me show you what I mean. Here's a few pics of an adult Devil/Midas. This guy is 13"+TL and what seems like 3"thick. He seems cramped in this 135 gallon. IT DOES NOT BELONG IN A 29 GALLON TANK. It's your tank though and you can do whatever you want with it. There's no law against abusing fish. I'm sorry because I know that sounded ugly but it's the facts bro, c'mon. Well good luck whatever you decide to do.
