If I remember correctly for ich, don't medicate, you want to add 1 tbs of aquarium salt per 5 gallons and raise your temperature to 87 degrees F. Ich cannot survive at that temp and will die off after a few days. Before you go raising your temperature though...what kind of fish are we talking about? If it's cichlids, you'll be fine...any others though, you may want to get a 2nd opinion. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you.
