True, but you'd have to cut the one pictured above to get it past the center brace anyways.

I know... what I mean about the ones you mentioned is that you'd have three of the exact same background pattern side-by-side, which would look to cookie-cutter for me.

Yes, but they're only 20" long. So you'd have to link 3 of them together which wouldn't look very good.

I guess I don't need to worry about finding a 30" background anymore... I was going to pick up a 220g setup on Craigslist this weekend but the guy sold it to someone who could pick it up earlier.

I'm having a really hard time finding a used acrylic setup! I'm trying to be lenient, but there's not much here in FL on Craigslist and I get replies from maybe 25% of the inquiries I make.

That really sucks. Same thing happened to me yesterday. Responded to an ad for a 220 10 minutes after it was posted & said I could pick it up tomorrow (was posted at night). Never got a reply so I sent another e-mail yesterday & was told that he has 3 offers higher than his asking price. Told him I was still interested but still no reply.

I figured there'd be a bunch to choose from in FL. Here in VA there isn't much either.

There's a fair number in FL but most are too far south for me, near Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Most are overpriced and the good ones tend to go fast.

I had to cut mine in 4 sections. Just a word of suggestion. If you are going to pick up this background. Get at least a 3ft wide tank. I installed one in my 180 and love it..however I wish I went with a 3ft wide footprint oppose to 2. The base of the trunk is really wide, which is absolutely awesome.

I'll be upgrading my 180 soon with a wider footprint of a tank and will be buying another background. I may sell my 180 w/background complete. SO if your okay with a 2ft wide tank I can keep you in mind... however I'm in So.Cal..

Thanks for the tip... yeah I was able to finally score a nice stand/canopy on CL, and the footprint is 5x2 feet, so I won't be doing this background. It'd be way too overwhelming for that tank. I can still dream, but it's not worth it to buy that background then cut it down so much.
