nice

Thanks guys... I actually have a beautiful piece of driftwood I can't seem to get into the tank, so I'm in the middle of figuring out a different idea. I bought it online & I didn't plan on the top of my tank having such small openings in the acrylic on top!

That driftwood was almost $300 with the shipping! BTW- It is from the outerbanks here in NC. Do I need to do something to that before putting it in a tank? I'm wondering if the salt from the ocean could cause a problem.

what type of wood is it and whats the website you ordered it from?

excuse my above moment of being humorous... the tank looks great and so does the wood.... although i would have gone with a much wider footprint for a cichla tank. cant wait to see it all set up and stocked up.... good luck

Yeah, I've already heard that about the dimensions, but it is a great tank for my office. I think I can make this work fine as long as I get another one 750-1000 gallon to graduate into. Then I can use this one as an in-between-tank!
