I sent him an email, hoping if I was kind and bit my tongue and handled the matter in a tactful manner he might at least give me the money I him paid for the tank back. But I will see what he replies back with and go from there.

damn! and im in the market for a 300......i may buy new, now. if you dont mind me asking, what was the price tag?

I will probably never buy used again. I paid 650 for it. Thought I was gettin a pretty good deal, now I have a mess and I'm thinking about getting out of the hobby. Can't imagine if my 125 busted in my house....

yeah thats a risk we run keeping these huge water filled pieces of furniture. your experience is really making me think of just saving a little more money, and going new. damn

Wow sorry to hear about that man.....You were talking about your 125 in your house....my 125 nearly went in my house like two weeks ago....it started leaking from one of the seals....tried to fix it with underwater eppoxy and that didnt work....luckly I had a friend selling a Oceanic 180 that I got and when I was nearly done draining the 125 the seal went completely thank God I was draining it and it didnt have much left in it cause it was a mess!!!!!....Its like I tell people to put it into perspective, Think about how much of a mess you get when you knock over a pitcher of juice and what it takes to clean that up.....and thats about a gallon.....now times that by 125 and spill it all at once!!!!....I couldnt even imagine what that 300 sounded like when it blew out!!!!!

I thought something blew up in my house somewhere....I'm in the Marine Corp. and I have heard many explosions, and it literary sounded and felt like an explosion in my house...

wait so, you knew it needed a brace when you bought it? Did you fill it on the floor or on a stand? Was it level? Did you see it full before you bought it? Sorry about your luck bud, just want to hear the whole story.

Man, shoulda just braced it and played it safe. Ive made a brace in like 30 minutes that worked fine and never got in the way.

i bought a used 75 that i had to do some work to and I am thinking hard now about not putting it in the house
