Love using good cameras... great job. I had to give my buddy his camera back last month and the one I have can't hold a candle to it, lol.
Thanks! Yeah, I was the guy who always said it had more to do with the guy taking the pics than the camera taking them, but this camera makes me realize just how much of a help it can be. I'm a lousy photographer and these are the very first pics i took. Can't wait to see what happens when i figure out how to use it lol. I think I'm gonna a/b it witrh my old Lumix tomorrow just to prove a point. The lens is the 18-55 nikkor. It's a basic as it gets.

Did I mention this camera rocks? If i can ever pry it out of my wifes hands, i'm gonna shoot a bunch for real tonight. Suns down, no glare or reflections. Should be interesting to see how they turn out

These are all af no flash. Not sure which i like better, but either way it seems to work pretty well. i'm sure i'm not using 100% correctly yet, but makes taking pics pretty easy

They all great :) What is that barred amphilophus?
Thanks! I'm not sure about him. He was traded in up at my Petsmart. Sold as a barred Midas for 7.99. Im sure he's a mix of something, but he's definately the water dog of the bunch. Total ham and full of personality. He runs the show, but he's pretty docile in general. Loves to hang out with me, my wife, my daughter, my dog. He doesnt care. he arranges the substrate too. His eyes will turn a crazy red right after a water change.

Most personable fish I own. My daughter named him "Brock"

great pics of beautiful fish! :nilly:

Great camera pickup and nice photos. The D7000 is a great camera. Keep in mind that there is a photo forum on this site. You will find threads on photography that will help you with your photos. Good luck.
