300 gallon community/ new camera pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great pictures! I agree a good camera makes a big differance but knowing how to use it is also important, seems like you have both going for you. Any chance of a full tank shot of your 300?

Sorry I didn't read the whole thread, I just went back and looked nice tank thanks for posting the pics.

Thanks guys! I'm starting to get my head wrapped around the af now. Manual seemed a bit easier at first, but now that I understand the focus points af is pretty cool. Gonna wait till tonite again to shoot some more. Way too much glare during the daytime.

Might setup the tripod too. All these pics were just cruising around the tank taking them randomly. It would be interesting to setup the tripod and start playing with flashes and shutter speeds. Looks like I got another new hobby now lol!!

DSC_1486.JPGDSC_1450.JPGDSC_1576.JPGDSC_1473.JPGDSC_1365.JPGMore af shots. Changed the scape a bit to open it up and to utilize some of the space better...creating a few more large caves. I think my long term success with these fish is going to be functionality of the scape and space. Lost a few plants added different wood that will be functional once these guys get bigger........

really diggin the camera thou.....

Thanks man! really wanted to do a Bocourti in this tank, but even at 300 gallons, it's really not big enough with the 4 cichlids as it is. Gives me an excuse for another tank lol
