Cool setup, looking good. I'm curious how fruitful the water lettuce growth will be. I'd completely submerge the heaters, and consider a powerhead in the sump. Might not be necessary and end up with a ton of evaporation if you don't fit plastic lids over it somehow.

The water lettuce has been great so far. Ive had it for about two weeks in another sump. Started with 3 plants and now have 14.

Haven't been on MFK much lately. Just had 20 pages to catch up on lol. Congrats on the set up! Looking good.

Very simple problem with the temperature. Your aquaon might be able to handle ur setup. Just cover the sump and tank.. it's should help. If u can't cover sump use the damn tarp and see if temp hit ur target.

Ok. I skimmed over a good amount lol. And I definitely noticed my tank kept heat better and had less evaporation after covering the sump..

I normally dont kee the lights turned up but will get some better pics once they settle in, they are pretty stressed atm.

Still need to do a few things but all in all i love the dual herbies. Man its so quiet the loudest thing is the hum from the pumps

I adopted my set up, but it's covered with real cheap plastic panes basically. I cut them as needed to fit stuff.

Ive done that before on smaller sumps but do you thinknit will impact the water lettuce getting light
