Great read jaws!!Ya really got me wanting to do a sump!!
Oh hell no... no mor rookie mistakes bro. Thanks for looking out but luckily its been 0.Keep an eye on nitrite as well... Don't want that to creep.
I probably won't need to change the flow often once I get it set, and am probably just getting myself in the weeds worrying about it. Just wanted to make any improvements now before the tank is in service. To a degree yes. Regardless of the type of valve.
If you increase the pump gph and still maintain water level below e drain then no need to adjust the siphon valves. But if the water level rises to a point where the edrains are taking on water then the siphons should be adjusted.
Why would you need to conatantly change the pumps gph ?
i say easiest would be decide on what you want the pumps set at (make sure e drains can handle desired fliw)and adjust the valves accordingly. Will be some tinkering the 1st few weeks but has been set and forget sinceI probably won't need to change the flow often once I get it set, and am probably just getting myself in the weeds worrying about it. Sounds like a plan, thanks.i say easiest would be decide on what you want the pumps set at (make sure e drains can handle desired fliw)and adjust the valves accordingly. Will be some tinkering the 1st few weeks but has been set and forget since
