Great setup, love the tank, secret door and the bio tower

That is a great setup. I'll be saving this to show to my wife. It'll be part of my plan to show her how awesome aquariums can be.

Hey Zen. Kinda. The tank runs into the sump, then there is a dual outlet in the Iwaki that shoots the water to the returns in the tank, and a seperate line off of the same pump that feeds the bio tower. There is a valve so you can adjust the flow to the tank as well as the bio-tower.

That's different...seems like a workable idea...:headbang2
so if you need more bio-filtering you can run it through the tower more?

Yep, you can adjust the flow rate if need be. Heres a couple of more pics. Plus I got the light set up. :headbang2I went with the Odyssea 72in light with the built in fans. I'll keep everyone updated on how this works. I know I've read good and bad on these lights. Over all impression as of right now? Nice, well built, although I would prefer bolts where they just used screws in the area of the legs. Always a chance of stripping with screws only. Everything else looks good so far. Oh yeah, the other pipe you see near the bio tower is for air flow into the tower so the benificial bacteria is well oxygenated.
