Pics on the way. I bought the light off of Ebay for "Buy It Now" price of 199.00 plus shipping. Shipping was 15.99. Again, I have heard good and bad things about these lights but due to the price, I thought I'd give it a shot. Everything is good so far. I am going to change the bulbs out from 12K to 10K for a whiter/blueish'er look. 12K is a little to yellowish for my taste. I just put a digital timer on that controls separate day/dusk and night settings as the light has a separate cord for each. Woot again.
Ok rob22, just ran down and took pics of the light in daylight mode with blue actinics on.
Oh yeah, and I added a silver arrowana. I don't know if he's going to stay yet or not. I've never had one, so I thought I'd try it.
I will take some pics in dusk and night mode tonight.

Any advise out there for getting the arrow to take pellets/krill/veggies? Normally I use the "starvation method". In "LFS" he was eating live food. Any other tips would be great.

Thanks

Just take your time he will eat when he is ready...often it can take up to weeks before he'll take food...He just needs to feel comfortable in his surroundings...He is a carnivore so the veggies are probably not going to happen...I know my Aros have accidentally ate Algae chips, but thy usually spit them out...
Pellets are the most complete food, but to get an aro to eat you might want to try a small piece of prawn...Freeze dried bloodworms work too...

Ok, here are the pics you wanted rob22. The first is daylight, the second is dusk and the third is night. Enjoy! :headbang2
You'll have to excuse the light from the window, it lights up the tank more than it should be for a night shot. I had to leave the exposure up so high that it sucked in light that normally wouldnt affect the pics.
