Glass is for fish... Use the wood for your sump!

Yes Sir!

Most of my thicker glass sheets are only 16" wide anyways. So the plywood would be easier to get the size I need.

Ok. Started building the sump to test out whatever waterproofing paint/epoxy I get.

This is still left overs from the 1 sheet of 1/2" i bought to face the stand.

The 2 end pieces are actully from where I cut out the door openings on the stand itself. No sense wasting things.

All the cut pieces laid out.

Clamped in place so I can tack it together with the brad nailer.

This is why you never assume a board is square. Always true your ends. The other 3 corners are perfect but this one has a little lip on it. Must be the one I cut with the skill saw on the stand. Only about 1/16" or so. Easy fix with some 80 grit sandpaper.

And the box sides all tacked together.

And that is where I leave it for now. Gotta go help someone pick up a motorcycle or something.

Workmanship looks great!Look forward to watching the progress.

Thank you. When using good material it's easier to be accurate.

The stand has a few joints and seams that aren't perfect but it's used material so I had to make due.

Might be picking up some plywood for the tank tomorrow.
