300ish Gallon plywood - First attempt

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm excited for you !
I have started the planning stage for my build.
The biggest problem I see so far is convincing my wife that
it's only gonna cost a couple hundred dollars.
Can't wait to see the glass go in it.

ok, talked to a guy who use a similar product to seal his tank. He used a special primer where he glued the glass down since he couldn't remove the pool paint after it had dried. If he had to do it again, he'd paint the place where the glass is going with some boat varnish or epoxy. Silicone doesn't really stick to untreated wood either.

Well. while work is good it keeps me from my projects. I just found out today they need me to work tomorrow as well and part of next week. So this thing is getting the back burner for another week it looks like.

ups and downs to everything I guess.

Right now I am sure work is much more important. Tho I am lucky that I only work my scheduled 5 days (Govt... No overtime) I have other projects that are keeping my from my projects. All gets done in due time.

Look forward to seeing update whenever they happen.

Any progress ???? Look forward to hearing about that pool paint.

Gonna try your tips at this....
Built a 600 gallon and took almost two years to get the finished product up and running.
-these step by step pics look like they'll really make the process much easier and less frustrating
