which raphs did you get?a stripped raphael could get around 10-11", but that will take a very long time, some people just dont have that much of passion. Mine are only around 4" now, and they eat alot.
Can you post pic of your tank?

Will do. I got 2 striped raphaels, it's a bare bottom tank so I might go get more(already have SOME) decorations for them to hide in. Just let me finish my dinner and I'll go take some photos.:chillpill:

Some pics, I know they're out of focus, hard to get good lightning. and the water got cloudy all of a sudden. There's a test picture in there, the one with the half tank shot.

I'll try to get some better shots tomorrow.

nice clean tank, good start, maybe some piece of rocks, just remember as soon as you add some ornaments (rocks, woods, etc) in your tank, your raph will find it self to hide, and be careful with the ornament that you choose cause raphs like to squeeze them self into it and end up stuck.
You could always add more raphs. Yet again, some people thinks that raphs are boring fish to keep, but I disagree with that, just wait till you see a full grown raph,..
As for the filter, I just use a submersible filter, it does well, as long as you dont over stock your tank.
Check out the all end mini monster tread for possible smaller tankmates,
I keep mine with couple of ghost shrimps, they're awesome.

Something weird happened. The tank suddenly got cloudy when I snapped the photos. I removed the pangasius and returned it, came back home and added the plants and catfish. All fine then came the cloud when I took the pictures.

That's where it is now. Noise gone down a lot but still audible. Should be fine for now. Do you know where I can get those sponge filters? Will they be useful?

For the tank of course! Like, are they better than the current filter in terms of noise and filter ability(bio)?

And I noticed that the tank is on slightly uneven surface. How big an issue is that? Measured from the black framing on the top to the water level, it's 0.8 inches on the left and 1.2 on the right.
