I'd be highly surprised if that's a 300. I have a 310 sitting in my living room and that doesn't look near the size. I'd still go check if I were you however, that's a clean tank.

I might go and take a look at it, either way 180 or 300 gallons, $200 is a good deal
If it is smaller you might be able to get it for 100 rather then 200
If it turns out to be a 180 then I would try to talk him down. He is selling it at $200 as a 340 but if it's actually a 180 then he might be willing to go a bit lower, seeing as it is smaller and a much more common tank. $100?

the guy is playing the " I have another person interested" game on me in order to rush me, I will prob stay out of it until the weekend so I have a clear amount of time to check it it'll it leaks ect.. I don't want to rush and get a piece of sh*t
I'd say I have cash in hand, let me come see the tank. take a tape with you, call him out if its smaller than advertised and tell him what youre willing to pay since it isn't the size he said. If he declines that then wait.
