  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
just what exactly are we talking about here? is it a south american aro? coz if it is, its a rip off! there aint no blue aros in a silver form. the only blue i know is a blue-base x-back aro, and you wont get it that cheap. this deal sounds really fishy......

some people call blacks blues because of the teal they have on their fins.
It's a way to rip someone off.

Luckily, this guy is doing his homework:)

is $350 a fair price for a blue arowana thats between 9-14" (it would have to be ordered in and thats the size range they gave me)

I would say if the arowana were at the 14" mark this would be far from a rip off. You have already stated that fish stores in your area are sparce. I think right now 200$ for a 10" is about the going rate from an online distributor. Add 50-60 dollars shipping and your at 260 dollars. For someone who may be apprehensive about buying a fish online that extra 90 dollars may be worth it. I personally have found online transactions positive for the most part and would go that route. If not I would see if they would take less than 350$. There are more situations for negotiations than people are aware of. Besides the worst they can say is no.

sorry to interupt. how about 50 us for a 9 in jardini??

Supply and demand of course, they can ask for whatever they want! Good to see people doing some comparision shopping!!!!!

I have a 24" black aro. i wonder how much i could sell him for. I got him right after he lost his egg-sack for $9.99.

Man i wished i bought all of those babies when i had the chance.

heya, I live right on the other side of the river of iowa, work in davenport, there is a petstore around here called teskes, sometimes you can pick up 2 inch silvers there for 12.99 just thought I'd letcha know!
