I recently switched my focus on my 350 to a geo community tank. It's just in the beginning stages, however I believe it's starting well. Going to update here periodically as they grow and as new occupants join:

Gymnogeophagus Balzani - 12
Acarichthys Heckelii "thread fin acara" - 8
Black Tertra - 28
Buenos Aires - 10
Black Neon - 6
Green Cory - 4
Tiger Botia - 2

Geophagus Pellegrini - 6 (in 75 growing out was exited to find them)

Possible Geophagus Winemilleri from gage next week.

Any suggestions on aquascape, stock, etc... feel free to input

Great looking tank. Not sure what geo's to add. Others on here will be of more help. I really like your set-up though. Personally, I love sand with big pieces of wood leaving a good amount of swimming room for the fish. It looks clean. With that said bud, I would not change your aquascaping, but that's just me.

I love that big stump looking piece of driftwood on the left side of the tank

Very nice setup and great looking driftwood pieces/placement. The only thing I'd do to it is maybe add a splash of color with a few plants; not that you need to, it's just what I'd do. :)

Btw... been following your build thread; great looking setup. Make sure to keep us updated as the fish grow out!

Nice tank. I like it.

The balzani don't really fit in with the other fish seeing as they require a cooling period in the winter to really thrive.

Thanks for all the cmoments and I will keep it updated. I've been debating plants, however for now I'm going without them. As for the balzani I've been told and read that they like it especially for breeding purposes, however I'm not really concerned if they breed or not. I'll also go without a heater during winter to get it low 70's and everything will be fine with that.

Again thanks
