Wow! very nice highl skyscraper "show" tank! Must be an impressive sight, I bet...when actually there in the room, in person! Looks really good with the stand & canopy.

What is the thickness of the tank glass/plexi? It seems like you don't have very much clearance from the canopy to ceiling? Do you find maintenance/water changes more difficult to perform because of the height of the tank?!! Be sure to post more pics when you can. TY for sharing! :)

WOW!!! awsome tank, with awsomer cics!!! do you have any aggression problems? seeing as how many of your cichlids are as mean as they come.

Thanks guys!! I will post some more pics soon because tank is really much better looking than it apears in these lousy pics.

Phultank, thickness is 1". I picked the tall tank because I wanted it to look "custom" in this spot in my basement where the ceiling is very low, so you're right that clearance is tight. But I'm accostomed to it. Large water changes are easy because I keep a dedicated pump in the tank (hidden behind a rock in corner). Gravel cleaning is a bit trickier, but not a problem. I turn on the pump and stir the gravel with a long stick to kick up all the muck. It works.

Kurse, tank is filled with SA/CA nasties (2 RDs, 2 Flowerhowns, 2 managuense, 2 cats, green terror, and a few non-cichlids). But everyone gets along pretty well, with only occasional "disagreements". :)

Will post better pics soon, Thanks again, GBG;)

Wow that is an awesome looking tank and great fish. Its nice that they are all getting along for the most part, hope it stays that way. I could sit and watch that tank forever. Great job on the tank and fish. I also like the tall driftwood pieces you have.
