Very cool that it's not a scam and very nice fish it looks like.Saw the fish in person the other day. Great looking fish with lots of potential. Was received in rough shape but should be tip top soon.

It is still for sale... What gives on that Sbuse? and also I'm not seeing a Spotted but a FLG.. Even if it was a spotted that is stupid priced and even stupider marketing for it. Really poor ass marketing actually. Pics suck ass with little to nothing for information about it. Whom would pay that type of money on such a fish with that poor of information or detail. You want 35K for a fish and have a dirty single pic that does not even show the whole fish.. Really that is just damn stupid and bordering retarded. The fish is not worth that much anyhow and only a really really stupid person would contemplate it.. I'd pay at the very very most 1000.00 and that is if I did not care to spend the same amount just to go where I know these are rather common and just get it my self... Without further assurances on it's existence and condition I'd offer no more than $40.00. Really people... I'm sure as Barnum made well know that there are all sorts of suckers out there... this is just stupid to the extreme on so many levels as to just ignore it or just laugh at it..

Not much advertising is needed for one of those, it is a very limited but high demand/priced market. Their is a price point that these fish sell at-"retarded or not" and it isn't $40. If you know of a source I would be interested in working something out. I am trying to get a breeding pod together.

It is sold and here by me. The seller most likely didn't delete the sale post since it only has 11 hrs left. I know the buyer didn't pay that price but a similar price to another large gold gar they have. I can't control the sellers sale post. I am not giving details because the owner has not let any out. I do not give out info unless the owners say it is cool. I can tell you it is here in this state, I actually have the box it came in. Believe it or not your call. It was a fisherman that caught it and you can see the wound from being caught in the mouth. The fisherman didn't know what it was worth just knew it wasn't your average gar. I will say the fish came in rough shape and was filled with lice. Now it is in great care and lice free. Next time I am over I may get a pic of it if the owner doesnt post it before hand.
Both the new owner and myself knew it was a Florida with an extreamly slim chance as a spotted. It was bought as a Florida.
