Your stand design is lacking 2 necessary supports.. Should still work fine though I hope. Awesome overflow and driftwood.

I have yet to add the diagonal braces. ;) I was thinking if I skin it with plywoood, that would add all the support the stand would need to prevent any swagger.

Thanks!

Super red aro coming into town soon. Some fei feng coming also, but I'll wait and see on size before deciding. Apparently wild, so they will need quarantine first. I really want one with my RTG.

I have a small GATF waiting for me at lfs, so he gets a tank. Not sure which yet.

I also have a breeding colony of red rainbow tropheus in a 5 foot 150 right now, so they might go into the 6 foot where the bass are right now.

I also want a different type of pbass, if I can find kelberi or azul. I'm going with F1 this time around. Getting wild pbass off live is a pita.

I got all kinds of ideas, lol.
nice, a super red:eek:. it must be nice having the opportunity to own a asian aro. i hope you find azul or kelberi. GL

Is it on like donkey kong yet?

looks great man! is it cheaper to build a glass tank this way than to buy one assembled?

Thanks! Normally it is a lot cheaper to do it this way. Buying a manufactured tank involves the cost of shipping and price mark ups. Locally, buying an Aqueon 180 gallon would run me $1200 before taxes. I am a good customer at this shop so I get a discounted price. Black trim on a tank is nice as is a suspended bottom, but they're not necessary. I dont even want to know what a tenecor tank of this size would cost me.

That's why you see 3 guys doing the build. It's a matter of putting one piece up at a time and having the experience to do it right. This guy builds most of the big custom tanks in this town.

Trim is mostly for show. Cleans up a tank and hides the glass edges and silicone. ;)

how do you make a tank and what are the materials because i want to make atleast a 100 gal or 200 gal to keep a few larger fish but i dont know wat fish if i ever get a 100 gal tell me whats the biggest fish i can put in there singly and wats the biggest fish i can put in a 200 gal singly.

Looks GREAT buddy! Ewing did a fine job once again, can't wait to see it full and running.
