Congrats!. I'll be here waiting for those updates.

Alright, here are the updates. I think the pictures are pretty self-explanatory.

Here are shots of the canopy I built.

The canopy will both flip open like pictured, and have doors on the front for easier access. I placed an order for the doors and they should be here in about 2 weeks. I'm going to wait until the doors arrive before I cut openings for them in the canopy.

Here are some more pictures after trim was applied to the canopy.

And here are some pictures of the stand. Construction is complete on both the stand and canopy. I just need to sand, add the doors, and stain now.

The tank is hanging off the back of the stand about 3 inches in this picture so that I could fill in a gap in the silicone along the bottom. The canopy and stand will be flush with each other once I move the tank back into place. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. I love the canopy design.

Very nice! Bet it feels good to be almost done. Can't wait to see it filled with fish. Congrats on the new family member too!

Lots of research, planning and patience. MFK diy hall of fame material! :headbang2

I love how it's the size of a car and that you have to get on a ladder (or something) to get these pics. lol
