This weekend I plan to reroute the electrical by running a junction box in the upper corner. It will then allow me to open up the studs and finish assembling the stand. Then comes the fun part... opening up the wall!

Nothing says commitment like an 8'x30" hole in the wall. I decided that I've been slow on updates (and working on it), but I knew this project would be like that from the start. I expect to have a lot more done in the next few weeks, but here's progress from tonight.

Looks like maintenance and feeding holes? Great idea. I had an "in the wall" tank years ago and I needed to go to the other room for feeding then run back around to watch. This tank will be out side, long way to walk/run just to feed.
