well my little bro wanted a 55 gallon SW so we went and got one for 70 bucks. and i set it up. spray painted the back washed it out , cleaned the wood touched it up. Filled it up mixed the salt , put in LR , etc. Then i made my own sump out of a magnum filter. Heres some pics

only 3 hours and it was completely clear and setup :headbang2

Looks like you have a nice tight fitting top so an eel should work out fine. I like the black background. If mine didn't weight two tons I would pull it out and paint the back.
 
amazing what LR will do for cycling a tank. when i was cycling my 75 i added a bunch of substrate and LR from my 29 as well as one of the two AC70's i had for the filter media, the next morning it was crystal clear! i was amazed

i did this with my 180 tall , i drained it 50% then moved it about 4 feet away from the wall and spray painted it.
 
How did you get that thing to move. I had my 180 long with just sand, rock, and about 3 inches of water and we could not get that thing to move an inch. I had 3 people pulling on that thing. I did end up with a nice foot shaped hole in the wall from pushing off on the wall though.. That was fun to fix.
