Epoxy is tried and true and has been used forever but when doing my research there is so many little variations that you have to consider in order for it to work 100 percent. Structure of tank , material being used,Temperature, prep, mixing, application, fiberglass application, film thickness, etc etc. All this can affect the final out come and longevity.
Liquid rubber (zavlar) ashphalt emulsion is exactly that, liquid rubber. When dry its like pure rubber. So easy to apply the more the better, much more forgiving with how the structure is built, oderless and when it gets old you just recoat! Cost is the same as epoxy pretty much so that isn't really a perk but you don't have to be a fabricated to use it!
I didn't get a chance to try the buytl caulking but IMO I feel great using the 3m 5200 as it is made to be submerged where not even silicone says that! Down fall its really dam hard to remove the window once in. People might say its not fish safe but Dow 795 or GE SCS also does not say its fish safe. All three products when wet will probably kill your fish. But when cured its pretty much like a rubber or plastic.
I just really like the eaze in the LR
Also if your in the U.S I would definitely check out Sani Tred
