Alright I finally scored some of this stuff for my new tank that I rebuilt!! So whats the best way to completely rinse this stuff... I have 3, 50lb bags.

Put it in the bucket and stick the garden hose in there. It will stir up the sand and wash out all debris. Just find the "magic flow rate"..too fast you'll wash out the sand, too slow you won't wash out the debris.

Did you bury the hose under the sand or rest on top?

constantly push the hose from the top to the bottom over and over again to stir up the sand and get rid of all the debris.

Thats good, thats what you want. It is the dust and debris from the crushing process. When the water clears up, mix up the substrate with your hand and keep using the hose to flush the stuff out. When the water is coming out clear after a few mixings it should be done.
Before using it make sure you use a good declorinator to make sure there is no harmful chemicals from the water from the hose.
I left the substrate in the bucket with water an inch above and used a bubbler to help circulate the declorinator for 24 hours. To speed up the process use RO or DI water in the bucket instead of tap water.

I did sometihng along thoses lines but to find out the rocks where soo soft that when they keep getting mix more dust came off.... i had to do this for almost 2hrs tell i gave up and then it stopped... Fine pic when its done :)
