I've been told it will and don't see why it wouldn't. Necroanis told me that Blue Max even sticks well to acrylic. Pond Coat is even better than Blue Max, so I'm sure it will.

I should have a bunch of pics on Saturday. All the glass is pretty clean. Just have to wipe down with vinegar and water and check for remaining silicone.

I have some cuts that are short on the side framing, so I have to cut some new pieces then test fit the glass again.
 
hey pete, what did you use to take the tanks a part.

i might start taking my 220 gallon apart, i havnt got any buyers interested in it yet, i tried guitar string before, and its killer on my hands
 
I would think some sort of wire too maybe after cutting out some silicon that you can.
 
I strip out all the silicone with box cutter blades, floor scraper blades (be sure to wear gloves with those), and regular flat razor blades. I've used a tile tool too.

To strip the glass apart, I apply a little outward pressure then cut through the silicone a little at a time with the flat razor blade. They are the only thing thin enough to work through. Be sure not the let the blade get wedged between the glass. If the glass crimps down on it, it will chip. I apply pressure, cut a little from inside and outside the tank, take the blade out then release pressure. The pressure stretches the silicone enough to cut on it. Be careful not to put too much pressure or you'll break the glass. Also, always wear good leather gloves when working with glass. Be patient, take your time, and you won't end up breaking the glass and/or going to the hospital.
 
I like Rose Garden Center on Westbank Expressway in Marrero best. There's some on the Eastbank in Metairie, but I don't go out that way very often to say either way. My friend sold Fifty Fathoms out there. I haven't been in it since way before he sold it.

50 isnt bad...I go there and RGC mostly...I hit the others just in case but those 2 are best for FW.

Hey pete...you talking about mike BB or the guy that sold it to mike?

Correct...was pops your friend or mike? I worked with Mike at Marc's back in the day...we had so much fun!!
