I live about an hour away from u and if i had the money to build my dream tank i would be begging to go to your house to help with your 90 gal expantion and your 4300 gal build just to get exprience and ideas. good luck withthem both!!!!

Oh yeah, dont forget to watch the SAINTS blow out the cardinals today.
WHO DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, i just read this thread from the begining and that hydrostatic parodox is pretty crazy. that opens up alot of doors for people with broken tanks to use on diy projects that were thought to be not possible.
i am currently building a stand for my 3x55gal tanks and looking at that i might have to rethink that knowing that i can build a decent size tank with them.

Just picked up my doner tank for free. Old planted 90 with no brace top or bottom which means it has 1/2 thick glass. Can't wait to try this, GREAT ideal Pete.

Yeah, the one I tore apart is 1/2" glass. The other two 90s I have are 3/8". Both have braces.

broken, if you have 3 55s you can build 6 decent single pane tanks or 3 double pane like my original design.

The first ones I'm going to build are going to be single pane.

Decided to clean up and reseal this 90 I picked up Friday for $50. It has two holes drilled in it, so I'm going to use it as a tank for a clown trigger. Installing coast to coast ABS overflow in it.

I have the 90, a 4' 65, 20L, and 2 5s for Ken to reseal tomorrow. The 4' 65 I'm giving to my nephew to house his Chinese water dragon. I'm such a good uncle and brother. Saving my sister from having to buy a critter tank for it.

Front was cracked so i have the back and 2 ends to play with. Hardly no scratches i guess because it was a planted tank.Think we can screw most of are braces from the inside and then coated to keep the outside supports clean?

One of the large panels on the 30 show has a crack at the top, so I will only get one large and 2 narrow glass pieces from it. Was going to just reseal it, but now I'll have to strip the glass out to make use of it. I can try to cut the piece with the crack and save most of it. Hope the crack doesn't run on me.
