I would just inform he that if he goes ahead with this animal cruelty, that you'll be finding a new place to buy your Chinese food from. All you can do is educate yourself first and then try to pass on the info to him.

I thought of that response. But I have going there for about 15 years. And there is all you can eat crab on sundays:)

So then choosing to not go there would even make more of a statement. IMO if he does go forward with this catastrophe and you choose to still give him your business. Well then, you are only supporting what he is doing.

Is your selfishness greater then the suffering of those fish? You going to be able to enjoy stuffing yourself on crab while watching those aros die slowly in that 55g tank?

Honestlyi probly wont be able to sit threw a meal there with out thinkin about it. So in the and I will have to find a new place to eat. But I plan to keep checking in on the fish. I wont give up on tryig to have him get a bigger tank. What size should I tell him to get?

tell him to get a 500 gallon. but knowing the size of an average chinese restaraunt then it would take up the entire place

I think h. Pile fit it by the front window if he got ride of some tables :)

I have a 450g with four 27-30" arowana in it. It is a bit cramped, the tank seems much better suited for 3 aro. I would recommend convincing him that just one of these dragon's require a minimum tank with a 8' x 30" footprint and go from there. To properly house 4 of these dragons, I wold recommend 10' long and 4' wide, though doubt this isn't going happen. Maybe three in a 8'x3'x2.5' tank. Or maybe just some smaller fish for his 55g tank.

it'd be nice if you could get some local MFK'ers to all come out & offer to buy them... wonder if he'd turn down a group of monster keepers wanting them XD poor aros. this is a pretty awful story, i hope the condition changes for the little guys&he smarts up before they all die horribly :\

He needs to get a couple of blood parrots and give up the dragon fish idea. All he's going to be able to do is make 'dragon soup' in few months. Mmmmm good!

Well...at least aro's aren't cheap. After he loses a few maybe he'll give up. They say only about one out of a hundred new fishkeepers make it long term.

he should make a 500 gallon the counter then it would fit just fine and would be a kick ass place to go
