i sure hope so. it's a wonder as to how that will work out

stocking has changed. read prior posts to see whats in there now.
filtration is working well. undergravel with two 250 gph powerheads is more than enough.
i have wired all equipment onto one power cord to minimize the appearance of cords. daylights and blue lights both on their own individual switch, powerheads on one and heater on another. checkout a couple pages back for pics of the wiring set up.

thanks for the input, but.
4 to 14" in two months? unlikely. an inch in 3 days? c'mon. and a rtc will outgrow the hybrid 8 times out of 10, and always outweigh him. and of course not a neighborhood pond. a heated, indoor pond at least 500 gallons.
sorry to rip on yah man.

those stats are true. the hybrid grow at a faster rate because its got the best of both genes. rtc get 5 foot and the tsn gets 7 foot. 500 gallons isnt big enough for one monster let alone two. expect a 1 inch rtc to be 18 inches in a year a hybrid more. and believe it or not my rtc went from 1.5 inches to 3 inches in a week.

i would like to see a picture of a 5 foot rtc, and a 7 foot tsn. got any?

so do you have a 5'000 gallon indoor heated pond in the near future for your rtc to go in ?

here's my rtc. he's approaching 14" and i've had him for 3 years. i don't powerfeed him, and he is perfectly healthy.

Well sucks for that rtc, they should be 18" in well under a year. There's a guy on here with a 5 foot rtc that passed away. He has pics too, idk his name tho

Growth rates for fish very greatly. For instance I got mine at 2" now 8 months later he is 24" "wanna fight about it" lol. I believe we have all ether stated or know how large rtc's and the hybrid get so let's MOVE ON
