I knew this is an old thread but the bigger shoal = less change for them killing each other.
I used to have a 48x18x24 and I have 150+ Exodon in there (The setup required heavy overkill filtration and 2x 50% water change per week).
I used to upload the feeding video on this website too (my old account named Yuki Rihwa that I've no longer remember the password and the email used to register that account also got terminated), The feeding video got deleted from youtube by accident so you can choose not to believe me, I just spoke the truth).
