I will try to take some better pics when tank has settled a bit.

I have 2 powerheads behind the largest corner of the blue media, and 1 powerhead in the other corner (4meters away :) ). It seem to circulate good engouht right now, but we`ll see when it has settled a bit more. I have ordered 3 more powerheads just to be on the safe side.
I have used this blue media only in several other tanks, and no externals in addition - and it work very, very good. No problems at all... The total volume of the media is around 70 literes.
But if i run in to trouble, i will add an external sump. Maybe i buy one of those Fluval FX5...
 
The tank is looking great. How nervous where you when you had to fill it for the first time? I know no matter how well it was built that I would be worried that first time. Cant wait for more updates.
 
a really sound looking tank-even more so considering you had the balls and skills to build that yourself. Take my hat off to you-well done
 
The tank i doing well! Some new habitants has moved in, a couple of L-191 and some other L numbers. This is the queen of the tank right now:
