My rays are rapidly needing more space so here goes.

Tank is approx 7.5x3x2.5 with custom 4ft sump for K1 micro.

At the back of our house is a small extension, was a playroom for kids, then a piano room but never got used so I took it. Lol. So first redecorated, moved the plugs higher so not blocked by tank and installed new radiator so can fit a nice chair in!

The stand then came and is build from 2x2 box steel, note however the steel is double thick as there are no legs in middle. It is also built in two pieces that bolt together so is easy to move!

This is as the long plan will be to have this tank with a large 7ft wide and 7ft+ deep pond with a front window underneath when we move in a couple years. This tank will then house the males, with the bigger females underneath. (unless male in pond for breeding) This tank will then drain into the pond eventually being on the same system.

However that a couple years off yet so for now going to box in stand using swanky kitchen doors lol

Here the rays that will be going in, sizes approx 8-12". Severums have gona now is just rays and will be getting an Asian arrow eventually once tank established

Tanks 12mm glass with double base so very very heavy. It is due to be delivered tomorrow so have but a ramp to roll it straight into the room to minimise lifting lol

Taking a fence panel out in garden and gona roll on a trolley over grass on boards and down ramp into double patio doors. Well that's the plan.

HMA filter from devotedly discuss for the drip, all plumbed up and ready to go.

Also built a lil stand for the UV. Is a 55w pond UV however the flow through will be extremely slow.

Nice. Question, is that a black trim around the eurobrace bottom perimeter and sides of the tank? Was that to protect edges?

no its the black silicone. It's a double 12mm glass base. Silicone jobs is very clean!!

they also don't put blobs between he two panes which I think looks better!

started work on it already, using knitting mesh to put over baffles in sump to stop the k1 micro going everywhere.

use on my current tank n works great, although cut a few holes larger to allow more flow to be safe!
