no its the black silicone. It's a double 12mm glass base. Silicone jobs is very clean!!

they also don't put blobs between he two panes which I think looks better!

I was going to say that but didnt see the black silicone at the top eurobrace. Yes, from the pictures looks nicely done.

cheers im very impressed.

wasn't sure what to expect as the company I got it from was a lot cheaper than other quotes, but turned out brilliantly.

the sump is completely custom and built exactly as requested so can't complain at all!

Very nice. Not an inch to spare, I would have been nervous it wouldn't fit.

Tell me about it!

Is custom size and there is literally an inch of space on left to allow for power leads/air lines etc to be ran up, I was worrying that if they got measurements a tiny bit off, then would be it! Lol

The wrap didnt do the tank justice even nicer. Is that starphire glass...doesnt look as green at the edges.

Keep us posted on your plumbing.

No just standard float glass. Only keeping rays which aren't at all colourful, so didn't see point paying the extra for it!

Will do, going to be a tight fit only have about 3 inch above sump to bottom of stand lol

Plumbing sorted, sump set up and ready to go.

Sump is custom design. 10mm glass throughout. Is 48 x 24 x 22 and will have running level of approx 19".

Two 50mm drains go into the first section which is a settlement chamber to catch the ray poop, water then comes back up and into the second which will be full of sponge's.

It then goes through the mesh into the main compartment which will be full of K1 micro media and into last chamber where is pumped back to tank, but is a T off with a ball valve for a slow flow through the UV and maybe a sand filter at a later date.

The overflow for auto drip has a ball valve on it, so then when I turn off main pump for maintenance , I can shut the ball valve to stop it draining down to a lower level and then open it up again once pump back on and running.

Now just need to drill hole in wall for the overflow from drip and put in media and one more heater from current tank and can start filling it!.
