I already have festae sobthat wont work. I do like the cuban, lyonsi, black nasty and buttikoferi. I was also thinking a beanie if it would work or a P. Bleekeri. Or even a red Texas. Would a red texas fit in a 40b for the rest of its life or no.

Texas could stay in a 40 b till 6-8". But don't quote me on that cause I know Texas can be housed in a 55 for life. A 40 b does have a better footprint

No way! I bought my guy at 6" and put him in a 46 bowfront and he is about to shatter the glass he goes so insane. I have an empty 90g and and empty 110g and he will definitely be moving to one of this as soon as I finish getting them up and running. They are super aggressive and can get as big as 12"-14" so a 40g would not do the job for life
