Been talking with a guy about some garnet sand from here. He sent me pics of it. So he's propecting a property for garnets, etc. He's separating the garnet out himself to whatever grade I want.

So far at 15% quartz, hornblende dry

Looks more red than purple too me. Plus it's 25 cents a pound. Tell me what you think.

I'd say it will work well for the bichirs ..... But iv had my purple garnet for a little over a week now .... And I must say purple or not my kolibas patterns has skyrocketed and he got so so much greener than b4 ..... Purple garnet works..... But my ornate washed out from it
