Alright well here is my thought on the stock.
12" oscar
3x pearsei
1x fire mouth
5-7x Geophagus Altifron
3x Moto or black rays
1x Silver Arrow
My baby 20" fire eel

How does that sound?? Would you add anything else?

The tanks foot print is 8'x2.5'x3'
Also some video of my eel!

Good selection, not found of the Oscar only because it eats way more than anything I know, :) othertham tht all good. I think he is waiting for a better offer (cash) wise. Good luck, if he repose with lower $$ I might throw him an offer, :) kidding...

There are black arows here in pdx for $170 around 12" inches if u consider a black arow.

Looks like my tank wasn't good enough for his wife:( I have no clue why? My tank is in just as good condition as his and is what he was looking for if he was to trade.. :screwy:
No more 450:(

There's a 300 in my area for $1000, 8x2x2.5 with fluval fx5 and xp4 with a Hugh unwanted silver :), pm me if you are interested.

Sorry to hear the no trade deal, see if you can sell your tank and make a cash offer. He has given me 2 different price and frankly the last one is not a bad deal with all the accessories. Hope he is stubborn on price. I will make a cash offer if I can off load one of my monster tank.

Looks like there is a 75% chance I will be trading my 150 for a 450 gallon.:headbang2
Right now my current stock is
12" oscar
3x 5" pearsei
4" firemouth
4" upside down catfish
20" fire eel

What would you add to this tank for stock? The tank will be a bare bottom and will have a substanual sump. Give me some creative Ideas!

Dump 2 of the Pearsi, the Firemouth, the Upside Down Cat, and the Fire Eel.
So you would be left with the Oscar and one Pearsi
Then get
Bay Snook, Peacock Bass, Green Terror, Escondido Texas, Jaguar, and a Pike Cichlid-The Venny
Would make an awesome display tank of large cichlids.

wow u obviously havent been following the thread

No I have, its just that this is the Cichlid section-de dert de dert.
Plus Aros are boring. A community of predatory cichlids would be more appealing and entertaining.
4 Aros-or 7-8 nice large cichilds?
